Hi, I’m Alyssa!
I’m a qualified nutritionist, recipe developer, content creator, your biggest cheerleader, and the creator behind @alyssacoadynutrition.
I'm also someone who has been where you might be right now - overwhelmed by food rules, constantly chasing the next health trend, and stuck in a cycle of restriction and frustration.
It all started when I was diagnosed with a spinal disorder called spondylolisthesis.
Chronic pain became a constant companion. My mental health took a hit. I had to give up running and basketball.
Desperate to feel better, I turned to “clean eating” and jumped on diet after diet. I tried cutting out chocolate completely… only to end up bingeing on it later. Each week began with “I’m going to be good,” and by day two, I was already off track. I forced myself to meal prep flavourless meals I didn’t enjoy.
I wasn’t happy and I definitely didn’t feel healthy!
That’s when I made a decision that changed everything. I enrolled in university to study a Graduate Diploma in Nutrition.
What started as a personal journey to understand my own relationship with food quickly turned into something much bigger. It completely transformed how I thought about eating, health, and wellbeing.
From there, I discovered what a positive and healthy relationship with food actually looks like. I started looking after my health in a way that was sustainable. I learned the power of small, consistent habits and how they can add up to big results.
Now I’m on my own journey, building healthy habits and sharing it with you.. one small step at a time!
